Dogi and Goban then head to the local bar to celebrate the return of Adol and Dogi. When Dogi mentions that something must still be the same, Goban tells him that he shouldn’t call him boss anymore.Īt the town of Mindea, Goban announces the return of Adol and Dogi, drawing everyone to their location. As he escorts the two, he notes how much has changed since they last came, Dogi also mentions that he heard Goban has given up on banditry as it is quite dangerous, Goban reminds Dogi that he is in charge of him. When Adol and Dogi arrive at the port, they are greeted by Goban himself. While heading back to Esteria after two years, Dogi notes that Pim is unfortunate to learn that Goban has opened up two stores. Prior to Adol heading to Celceta, Goban returns to his shack. Goban came with Adol to Minea Port where they learned from Banoa that she boarded a boat to find him. Before Adol left, Goban gave him the wing he confiscated from him in the first game before he entered Darm Tower. Adol suddenly learns she has the Eye of the Moon with her and was planning to give it to him. Toban tells Adol that she ran off to Minea Port to see Adol to try and prevent him from leaving. Adol explains that Lillia is in grave danger. Later Adol meets him here where Goban asks him where Dogi went as he should be looking after Lillia. He has turned his hideout into an emporium for antiques.
Non-Canon Appearances Ys IV: Mask of the Sun Towards the end of Ys II starting with the Eternal remakes, Goban fights alongside Keith Fact and Gorto Dabbie to kill off the swarms of demons Darm summoned to empower him. Goban's general appearance consists of brown hair and a mustache.
